We're Turning 51!
And we want celebrate dang it! We want you to join us. Be part of our 51 year history in person for the amazing R+E Cycles Bike and Pike expo. It's been a long 4 years, let's kick the 2024 cycling season off right!

Come join us for coffee, beer, bicycles, and a chance to converse one-on-one with some of The Northwest's cycling gurus at The Seattle Bike and Pike Expo of 2024.

At R+E Cycles, we love Seattle, and the small companies that actually produce their products here. In October 2008, I asked our friends at Pike Brewing Company in Downtown Seattle if they would like to put on an event here in Seattle with other Seattle based entrepreneurs (and personalities) and they were just as excited about it as we were.

The flavor of Seattle Small Business is unique
But that flavor really gets diluted when an event gets overwhelmed with big firms that have unlimited advertising budgets. We thought it would be great to put on a smaller event that showcased unique Seattle companies and their products, while at the same time raise money for a local charity. This is why we started the event.

Over the last fourteen years, the Bike and Pike has been a great success! We've raised almost $65,000 for Food Lifeline here in Seattle, and had lots of fun doing it. You've helped us raise enough for almost 330,000 meals! Thank You!

Want to go to an event this March that's bicycle oriented and highly focused on Seattle based small businesses? The 2024 Seattle Bike and Pike Expo is for you! Here's some of what's lined up:

Silent Online Auction to benefit Food Lifeline

All the local vendors attending have donated excellent items for the Silent Auction or the drawing. It's all for a great cause, and you get a chance to own some exceptional Northwest Made stuff! 100% of the proceeds from this auction will go directly to Food Lifeline here in Seattle.

Bidding: We've made it easy!

You've got no excuse not to bid for these great items. You can bid even if you are not attending! You can bid even if you're not in Seattle! You can bid online right from this link. You can send your bid in the mail to us (as long as it arrives before 5pm on March. 2nd 2024). You can bid on your phone, tablet, you name it! It's simple.

Who Will Be Here

R+E Cycles

You're invited to tour our entire facility! See where Rodriguez and Erickson bicycles are made, painted, and assembled and meet the folks who build them! Bring a friend who hasn't been here before, and we'll give you a FREE Rodriguez 50th Anniversary Cofee Mug (while they last). Hey, FREE is a very good price right?

We are also donating a $4,000 custom Rodriguez Pony Keg mini velo bike, silent auction, as well as other great items!

Come by and see all of our new bike models including the new, Rodriguez Pony Keg mini velo as well as the always popular Bandito and the classic Phinney Ridge models. These bikes have really turned some heads over the last few years....even in the bicycle press.

100% of the proceeds from our silent auction will go to benefit Food Lifeline. Chrome Rodriguez and Erickson Bicycle Logo

Kinekt™ formerly Bodyfloat
will be here to show the Kinekt™ seat post. This is the 'Bodyfloat' seat post that we've been raving about for the last several years, and I ride personally. Come test ride one and you'll be hooked just like we were! Kinect™ is now making a suspension stem as well. If yoru hands could use a break from Seattle's pounding potholes, this could be your solution.

We will also be auctioning off a $320 Kinekt™ post and a $200 Kinekt™ stem!

Herkimer Coffee Roasting Co.
will be serving up FREE samples of their exceptional coffee. Come grab some of this exceptional coffee that's brewed right here in Seattle (just like Pike beer and Rodriguez Bicycles).

Author and Cycling personality Bill Thorness
will also be in attendance. Bill is the author of Biking Puget Sound, and Cycling the Pacific Coast, as well as a long time friend of R+E Cycles. He's been cycling in Seattle and the Puget Sound region since the late 1980s, and in the last eleven years all along the coast, from Vancouver, B.C. to the Mexico border. Visit him at the 2024 Bike and Pike and ask him about his adventures! Especially if you may be planning some of your own travels. Bill is also donating signed copies of his books for charity in our online auction. Be sure to bid generously.

Swift Industries
At its core, Swift Industries is a bicycle bag company in Seattle, Washington. Our products are designed and put through the wringer in the Pacific Northwest. We love bicycles, chase adventure, and have deep admiration for high quality gear.

We learned to design and sew because it’s dynamic and compelling work. We give materials dimension, transforming flat and individual components into tough, functional, beautiful adventure bags. Come see some of their great bags during Bike and Pike!

Adventure Cycling Association
Adventure Cycling inspires, empowers, and connects people to travel by bicycle.

The Adventure Cycling community brings people with common interests together to accomplish goals that can't be done in isolation. With the power of the community behind us, we work to align the people, places, and infrastructure needed for meaningful bicycle travel.

Food Lifeline
will benefit greatly from your donations (and auction purchases) at the 2024 Bike and Pike Expo. In past years attendees helped us raise enough money for over 134,000 meals to be distributed to local area food banks. We hope to raise a record number this year.

Now, just in case you haven't heard,

we're having an Online Silent Auction;-)

100% of the money raised will be given directly to Food Lifeline.

All in all, March 2nd will be a fun gathering of locally owned Seattle businesses showcasing some real (and really unique!) products and services made nearby. We're happy to be a part of the Northwest, and proud that the proceeds of this event will stay right here in the Northwest through Food Lifeline.

Come and join us for great Seattle bicycles, beer, coffee, snacks, and conversation for an event that will benefit all Seattle!

Thanks to all our sponsors!

We'd also like to thank several of our local sponsors who won't have a table at the event, but who generously donated items to our silent auction.
